She was born in Rome. She worked since her youth at the Sartoria Tirelli fashion house in Rome.
From 1985 to 1993, she worked with director George Alberti in the production of costumes by celebrated designers (Piero Tosi, Pier Luigi Pizzi, Franca Squarciapino, Carlo Diappi, Paul Brown, etc.), in films such as The Name of the Rose (1985) and The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988). As an assistant costume designer, he worked for ten years with Hugo de Ana, as well as with Giovanna Buzzi (Ricciardo e Zoraide, 1990 / Elektra, 1994, etc.), Piero Tosi (Don Carlos, 1991 / Aida, directed by Franco Zefirelli at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, etc.), Maurizio Millenotti and Alessandro Lai. As a costume designer, she debuted in 1996 at the Opera of Rome, where she did the costumes for the opera Turandot, directed by Stefano Monti. She has also collaborated many times with Franco Ripa di Meana (The Italian Girl in Algiers [L'Italiana in Algeri], 1998 / Simon Boccanegra, 2003), Marco Gandini (The Magic Flute [Die Zauberflöte], 2006 / Così fan tutte, 2009), Andrea Liberovici, Luca Ronconi (Sister Angelica [Suor Angelica], 2008), Damiano Michieletto (The Barber of Seville [Il barbiere di Siviglia], Geneva, 2010), Daniele Salvo, Francesco Micheli (La bohème, Teatro La Fenice, Venice, 2011 / Romeo and Juliet [Roméo et Juliette], The Verona Arena, 2011) and Lorenzo Mariani (Tosca, Opéra de Nice, 2012). For the GNO, she did the costumes in Macbeth (2014), directed by Lorenzo Mariani.
