British bass-baritone Ossian Huskinson is a distinguished opera singer known for his rich voice and compelling stage presence. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Music, where he was a Bicentenary Scholar, studying under Mark Wildman and Iain Ledingham. During his time there, he performed roles such as King René in Tchaikovsky's Iolanta, Sarastro in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, Le Philosophe in Massenet's Chérubin, and Bottom in Britten's A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Huskinson's talent has been recognized in several prestigious competitions. He was a finalist in the Neue Stimmen competition in 2022 and the Paris Opera Competition in 2023. In 2024, he won the Mozart Prize and secured Fifth Prize at the Tenor Viñas Competition. Additionally, he received the Critics’ Circle Young Talent (Voice) Award for 2022–23.Professionally, Huskinson has performed with notable opera companies. At English National Opera, where he was a Harewood Artist during the 2022/23 season, his roles included Sciarrone in Tosca, Harašta in The Cunning Little Vixen, and the Speaker in The Magic Flute. He has also appeared at Garsington Opera, portraying characters such as Zaretsky in Eugene Onegin, Pluto in L'Orfeo, Truffaldino in Ariadne auf Naxos, and Jupiter in Platée. His international engagements include performances at Deutsche Oper Berlin as Pietro in Simon Boccanegra and at Opéra de Toulon as Seneca in L'incoronazione di Poppea. In 2024, Huskinson joined the Jette Parker Artist Programme at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. His roles for the 2024/25 season include Angelotti in Tosca, the Mandarin in Turandot, and Wagner in Faust. Beyond opera, Huskinson is an accomplished concert performer. He has sung Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin at the Beethovenfest Bonn and has performed Handel's Messiah with the Huddersfield Choral Society. His debut solo recital, The Roadside Fire, featuring works by Farrar and Vaughan Williams, is available on Linn Records. Huskinson is represented by James Black Management and is grateful for the support of Mascarade Opera in his professional development.
