Hailing from Feuchtwangen, Bavaria, the soprano CHRISTIANE KARG gave her highly-respected debut performance at the Salzburg Festival whilst she was still a student.
Christiane Karg’s first engagements included performances at the Hamburg State Opera as well as as a member of the ensemble at Frankfurt Opera where she sang the most important roles of her fach, including Susanna, Pamina, Servilia, Musetta, Zdenka, Mélisande. She made guest appearances at the leading opera houses of Germany and across Europe, including at the Bayern State Opera, Komische Oper Berlin, Theater an der Wien, as well as at the Semper Opera.
