There are five unique Italian villages that sit amongst green hills and spectacular ocean views – Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. Over the centuries, people have built terraces on the steep, rugged landscapes along the North West coast of Italy. The villages are part of the Cinque Terre National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and are a very popular tourist destination nowadays. Cinque Terre boasts natural beauty and has a romantic feel, blossoming with lemon trees which you will smell as you arrive, and vineyards covering the green hills.
