Overview
Are you ready to join an “Olympic tour”? Meet your driver and reach the village of Elis, built on the ancient city of the same name. Elis was famous for breeding horses used in the Olympic Games and for having control of the Games. Today, the ruins are few and unfortunately not indicative of the city that once was.Once in the city you will truly feel the Greek hospitality – you can choose to spend your time enjoying some local delicacies, like the “meze” or, if you prefer, you can discover more about the sea life by swimming in the Ionian Sea.You will also have the chance to taste the Iliako wine and try your hand at Disc Throwing, Ball Throwing, and Long Jump and feel like a true ancient Greek athlete.
