Three other prodigies—a prize-winning pianist, a celebrated violinist and another rising piano talent—round out an evening of breathtaking virtuosity.Under the soaring arches of London’s grand concert hall, rising star David Chen, grandson of Martha Argerich, makes his eagerly anticipated UK debut, unleashing the fiendish challenges of Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto. Each thunderous chord and lyrical flourish reveals his poetic finesse and emotional depth. Joining him are three extraordinary young soloists: 14-year-old Peihan Francesca He, whose international competition victories have already taken her to stages around the world; 12-year-old violinist Muqi Yuan, whose second-place finish at a major international violin competition confirmed his precocious artistry; and Matt Zhao, celebrated for his acclaimed performances in Europe’s most illustrious halls. Together, these four prodigies promise an evening of electrifying technique, heartfelt expression, and the thrilling momentum of tomorrow’s musical luminaries.
