Violin: Huang Mengla
Huang Mengla, one of the most active violinists in the world today, has won the prestigious gold medal at the Paganini International Violin Competition. His extraordinary technical prowess and rich, nuanced musical expression strike directly at the heart, radiating both intellect and emotion, captivating the global classical music scene.
As the first Chinese violinist to collaborate with the Universal DG label, Huang Mengla has exclusively released four "Yellow Label" albums with Deutsche Grammophon: "Violin Show Pieces," "Violinissimo," "Paganini 24 Caprices," and "Milonga del Angel," showcasing his unique style and personal charisma.
In addition to being an associate professor in the Orchestral Instruments Department at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Huang Mengla also serves as a guest professor at institutions such as the Royal Academy of Music in the UK and the International Music Academy in Japan. He has also been a judge at music competitions like the Sendai International Violin Competition, contributing significantly to the discovery and nurturing of the next generation of young musicians.

Principal conductor of the Central Aichi Symphony Orchestra, Kosuke Tsunoda is fast establishing himself as one of the leading conductors of his generation.
In 2005, he began his studies in Berlin at the Hochschule für Musik “Hanns Eisler”. At the “INTERAKTION 2007” workshop he conducted the specially assembled orchestra made up of members of the Berliner Philharmoniker and Staatskapelle Berlin. In March 2008, he completed his Master degree at the Tokyo University of the Arts.
Passionate about opera and ballet, he has conducted many productions throughout his career including the Japanese premieres of Schubert’s Der vierjaehrige Posten and Die Freunde von Salamanca to the great acclaim of the Japanese magazine, Mostly Classic. In 2019, he toured Japan conducting new production of the opera ‘Hänsel und Gretel’. He also participated in a production for children named Aladdin and Magic Violin. He had been an assistant conductor at the New National Theater Tokyo, the Tokyo Chamber Opera Theatre, Tokyo Symphony Chorus and the Nikikai Opera Foundation.
In 2016, he received 11th Music Award from Nagoya Music Pen Club for his performance of Sibelius and Kosaku Yamada’s works with the Central Aichi Symphony Orchestra. He received Encouragement Prize for New Artists from Aichi Prefecture in 2020.
