The China National Peking Opera Company pairs Touring the Lake from The Legend of the White Snake with Fighting in the Melon Garden and Wujia Slope. Bai Suzhen and Xu Xian fall in love during a rainy boat journey; Zheng Ziming's encounter with Tao Hong leads to a fight; and Xue Pinggui returns to Wang Baochuan after eighteen years apart.

Named after the Peking Opera master Mei Lanfang, this theatre brings traditional Chinese opera into a modern performance setting.
The red exterior and glass facade introduce a venue belonging to the China National Peking Opera Company. Two auditoriums offer different scales of performance: the main theatre and a smaller space on the fourth floor, both at the Ping’anli West Street address.
