Chuncao saves Xue Meiting by announcing that he is her mistress Li Banyue's intended husband. When a letter orders Xue's execution, Chuncao and Li Banyue alter it. He is escorted to the capital in state, and the minister has to accept him as a son-in-law. Announced performers include Suo Mingfang and others. Performed by Jingju Theatre Company of Beijing as part of the Guocui Jixiang series. Performed in Chinese.
