Embark on an extraordinary journey with the most famous arias and duets from the greatest Italian operas.
The Italian Opera Taormina show is an unmissable timeless journey in the Italian Opera and lasts about an hour and 30 minutes. During the show the most famous arias and duets of the Italian lyric repertoire of international fame will be presented. Italian Opera Taormina, in fact, accompanies the public on a magical journey between Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Donizetti, Rossini, making use of the best voices of the national and international scene accompanied, in the hall by equally virtuous pianists.
The evenings take place at the “NAZARENA” theater in Taormina located in Via Fontana Vecchia 3. During the break of each show, an drink is offered on the magnificent panoramic terrace overlooking the bay of the Perla dello Ionio.
Also, the audience will be presented with performances by such world stars as David Garrett, Eros Ramazzotti, Roberto Bolle, Andrea Bocelli and others. Concerts will take place on the stage of the Ancient Theater of Taormina.
About the Taormina Festival
The Italian Opera Live Cultural Association was born in 2014 from the desire and passion to transmit the regional and national musical and artistic cultural heritage, envied us all over the world.
Since 2014 every year about 150 shows are performed to an international audience, which gets larger year after year.
Italian Opera Taormina is a unique experience among the melodies of Puccini, Verdi, Donizetti, Rossini and many other authors performed by great professionals of the Italian and International Opera, with different arias and duets accompanied by the piano. The guests become part of the show, thanks to the interaction with the artists and during the break they will be delighted with an aperitif on the panoramic terrace of the gorgeous Nazarena Theatre, a small thetre with 120 seats set in the heart of Taormina.
