He has held more than 40 tours in more than 30 years, visited nearly 100 cities, and performed nearly 500 shows, almost all of which were sold out. The music he adapted, performed and published include "Red Sun", "A Great River", "Butterfly Lovers", "Mountain Songs Are Like Spring River Water", "Liuyang River", as well as popular music such as "Flower Heart" and "Love Like Tide", which not only influenced a generation of Chinese music fans, but also played a great role in promoting the popularization of piano education in China.

In 2023, he collaborated with Zhao Cong, the head of the China National Orchestra, to publish "Rose and Jasmine", based on the Chinese folk song "Jasmine Flower" and the French famous song "La Vie en Rose". In 2004, in recognition of Richard Clayderman's outstanding contribution to Sino-French cultural exchanges and the promotion of Chinese music, the second "China's Top Ten Performance Events Selection" specially awarded him the Outstanding Performance Award and the Best Promotion Award . In 2012, his 20th anniversary tour in China won the championship of the classical music list of the "China Performing Arts Box Office Ranking" that year.

Zhuhai Hengqin Chimelong Theater is the second permanent performing arts venue in Zhuhai Hengqin Chimelong International Ocean Resort. It was completed and opened in 2019. It is located in the center of the resort, connecting the charming pedestrian street along the Fuxiang River and Chimelong Ocean Kingdom. With a total construction area of ​​approximately 63,000 square meters and more than 6,700 seats, it is a modern three-story special-effects technology venue that integrates a three-dimensional "water, land and air" experience, using a 270° panoramic ring stage and three surrounding waterways, as well as more than 250 people.
