Reykjavík is the capital and largest city of Iceland. It is the center of Iceland's cultural, economic, and governmental activity, and is a popular tourist destination. It is among the cleanest, greenest, and safest cities in the world.
In the city, it is worth visiting the National Museum and the Museum of the Sagas, the exposition of which is devoted to the history of the settlement of the country by Vikings.
