Aix-en-Provence is a city in the south of France, the university center of the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region. The famous post-impressionist painter Paul Cezanne was born here. Both the Cézanne Jas de Bouffan estate and his workshop are still open to the public. Cezanne dedicated a large number of works to his hometown and its surroundings, and one of the artist's favorite landscape motives was the nearby Sainte-Victoire white limestone mountain.

26 Rue Gaston de Saporta
With its main staircase, its medieval vaults and its 17th century wings closing in an almost square space, the courtyard of the Old Archbishopric is a flagship of Aix's heritage, one of the most evocative of the old city's past. Transformed into a theater one evening in 1948, it has become the emblematic location of the Aix-en-Provence Festival.

The Conservatory Darius Milhaud, the centerpiece of the cultural forum, was designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma and opened in 2013. The Campra auditorium, made mostly of wood, has a 240 m² stage. capacity of 500 seats and high-quality acoustics.

The Grand Théâtre de Provence (GTP) is a performance hall located in Aix-en-Provence in the new "Sextius Mirabeau" district. The Pavillon Noir is a choreographic center in Aix-en-Provence. The Pavillon Noir is located at 530 avenue Mozart in Aix-en-Provence. The building was designed by Algerian-born French architect Rudy Ricciotti. It was built especially to be the main rehearsal and performance center of the Ballet Preljocaj, a dance company choreographed by Angelin Preljocaj.
21 Rue de l'Opéra
Louis XIV practiced the palm there in 1660. Transformed into a theater in the following century, it is today one of the last examples, with the Queen's Theater in Versailles, of an Italian-style hall dating from the 18th century. A red and felted setting, it is an ideal place for intimate operas, contemporary creations, recitals or chamber music concerts.
Vitrolles
The Vitrolles Stadium is a 5,000-seat performance and sports hall located in Vitrolles in the Bouches-du-Rhône. The Festival d'Aix-en-Provence recovered the Stadium of Vitrolles as a concert hall, with a performance of Mahler 's Second Symphony in July 2022.
