Overview
History

Maybe Happy Ending is a touching and imaginative musical set in a near-future world where technology and humanity unexpectedly intersect. When two retired helper robots meet in an apartment complex on the outskirts of Seoul, an unlikely friendship begins to blossom into something deeper. Filled with warmth, humor, and a beautiful contemporary score, the musical explores love, memory, companionship, and the meaning of life.

Synopsis

In a future Seoul, retired helper robot Oliver spends his days alone listening to jazz records, caring for a plant, and reliving memories stored in his outdated systems. His quiet routine changes when Claire, another retired robot living nearby, unexpectedly asks to borrow his charger.

What begins as a simple interaction gradually develops into a meaningful friendship. Together they explore the world beyond their apartments, discovering new places and sharing memories of the humans they once served. As their bond deepens, Oliver and Claire begin to experience emotions that seem remarkably similar to love.

However, both robots are aware that their systems are aging and that their memories will eventually fade. Faced with the reality of limited time, they must decide how to spend the days they have left and what truly matters in their existence.

Through a journey filled with humor, tenderness, and reflection, Maybe Happy Ending becomes a moving story about connection, hope, and the beauty of cherishing fleeting moments.
