The Edwige Feuillère Theater is a theater located in Vesoul , in the Haute-Saône. It has a room equipped with more than 700 seats and a 140  m 2 stage, one of the largest in eastern France. The theater was inaugurated on January 3, 1983by Edwige Feuillère, a famous film and theater actress born in Vesoul.

Labeled as a “ conventional stage ” and run by an association, the theater annually hosts around 100 performances by nationally renowned artists and receives more than 30,000 spectators.

The establishment was created in 1977 and was called "Maison des Arts et des Loisirs". January 3, 1983, it was modified and inaugurated with the name Edwige Feuillère theater, in tribute to the film actress Edwige Feuillère, born in Vesoul and who notably won an honorary César in 1984 as well as the actress's Molière in 1993.

In 2006, the building was considerably reformed: the exterior facade of the theater was renovated and the interior of the building was redesigned, ie approximately 1,700  m 2. The total cost of the work amounts to € 1,500,000. Redesigned according to the plans of the architect Pierre Faure, the front facade is reconstituted with blue bay windows. Inside the building, the stage and the bleachers have been extensively renovated. Innovember 2007, the Edwige Feuillère theater is dedicating a photo exhibition to Edwige Feuillère , in commemoration of the ten years since his death.

In 2012, the Ministry of Culture classified stage theater with an agreement with children's voices / scenic space, which made it the first performance venue in France to acquire this distinction.

Today, the Edwige Feuillère theater is one of the main performance venues in the region. It has a 350  m 2 stage, one of the largest in eastern France. Also, the theater has more than 700 seats with a balcony with a panoramic view.

The Edwige Feuillère theater welcomes artists of national and even international renown such as rapper Oxmo Puccino, actress Jane Birkin, clarinetist Yom, accordionist Richard Galliano, or singer Piers Faccini. Among the types of artists who perform in the theater, the majority are actors, dancers, and musicians.

The theater also hosts several notable cultural events including the Jacques Brel Festival, an annual music competition lasting 2 weeks and created in 2000, in order to gain notoriety for young artists, judged by professionals during their performances.
